Amanda is pleased to invite expressions of interest for the 2017 Armistice Centenary Grants Program.
This exciting opportunity for our community will see one-off grants to support local, community-based commemorative projects and activities that commemorate the end of the First World War, remember Australian service men and women from all conflicts and celebrate a just and secure peace.
Amanda would like to hear from eligible organisations with ideas to commemorate or celebrate the end of the First World War in our local community.
Grant funding between $3,000 to $50,000 may be available to organisations for eligible projects.
Your project or activity could be as simple as giving an existing memorial a new lease of life, putting on a theatre production about the time, or writing a history for a battle that you believe deserves recognition.
Please read the eligibility guidelines carefully - Guidelines can be found here.
More information can be found here - Frequently Asked Questions.
The expression of interest form can be found here - Expression of interest form.
The Community Consultant Committee will review all proposals, and develop a short list of applicants to be invited to submit a formal application to the Department of Veterans’ Affairs.
If you have any questions please contact Amanda's office on 8186 2588.
