Local Sporting Champions December 2016

Amanda again recognised some of our most talented local sports stars in her recent Local Sporting Champions ceremony.

11 young sporting stars were chosen by a community panel to receive Local Sporting Champion grants due to their passion, talent and commitment to the sport and their sporting community. A variety of sports were recognised, including ice skating, futsal and cross country running.  

If your child is competing at a State or National level, they may be eligible for a Local Sporting Champions grant. The current round is open until the end of February and applications can be found here - http://www.ausport.gov.au/participating/local_sporting_champions
