RISHWORTH & SNOWDON - MEDIA RELEASE - 75TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE COMPLETION OF THE THAI-BURMA RAILWAY - TUESDAY, 16 OCTOBER 2018

Today marks the 75th anniversary of the completion of the Thai–Burma Railway as we remember the sacrifice of Australian Prisoners of War (POW).
 
This historic milestone will be marked at a national ceremony today in Ballarat to remember all of those POWs who worked on the Thai-Burma Railway and those included in the notorious Hellfire Pass.
